19 May 2010 LASER COMPONENTS’ high-power pulsed laser diodes (PLDs) are produced at our Canadian facility. Single emitters, multi-junction PLDs, and stacks are available at 905 nm and 1550 nm. Customer-specific designs and other wavelengths are available upon request. Applications include rangefinding, speed measurement, laser radar, security scanners, in laser curtains, or testing and measurement systems.
With the 905 series you can count on extremely high reliability, best beam properties, and temperature stability.The 1550 nm PLDs are particularly well suited for the production of “eye-safe” rangefinders.
High quality and an excellent cost/performance ratio have resulted in our product lines reaching the top in just seven short years. It makes us proud to hear from our customers that PLDs “made by LASER COMPONENTS” have meanwhile become the industry standard.
