22 Apr 2010 Laser Quantum have released new specifications for their in-demand, ultra quiet 532nm laser the finesse, keeping it ahead of the competition. The finesse laser now boasts a reduction in noise to <0.15% rms while stability has been maintained to <0.1% across the range.
The high power finesse series has been well received in the photonics community and is now one of the most popular choices for Ti:Sapphire pumping worldwide. The finesse platform now offers powers from 4W to > 10W.
The Finesse has a proprietary cavity design which achieves a highly stable, ultra quiet CW output in a diffraction-limited beam (M2<1.1). The system is designed in a very compact, robust package with integrated cooling mechanisms allowing for easy installation and integration into OEM systems. The Finesse also includes a patented cavity which is fibre-fed from the pump diode, housed in the power supply. |
