12 Mar 2010 Ce:YAG crystal is characterized by relatively high light yield (21% NaI:Tl) and reasonable fast decay time (70ns). Imaximum emission at 550nm is well matched to CCD sensitivity. Ce:YAG scintillator is attractive in the applications of light charged particles detection, beta and X-ray counting, electron and X-ray imaging screens due to its advantageous properties of high electron conversion efficiency, good resolution, extremely high thermal conductivity, long life- time and vacuum compatibility. |
