20 Jan 2010 The SLIM-550 is the first yellow DPSS laser, emitting up to 200 mW at 550 nm. Its unique monolithic resonator guarantees outstanding performance, optical noise less than 0.2 % rms, pointing stability less than 5 µrad and power consumption as low as 10W. These features make the SLIM-550 the perfect tool for fluorescence applications, enabling in particular a very efficient light collection from PE, without unwanted excitation of APC. It also allows optimal excitation of fluorescent proteins such as DsRed and dTomato.
