02 Nov 2009 Phazzler systems are advanced instruments dedicated to the shaping and/or characterization of ultrafast laser pulses.
Phazzlers integrate Dazzler pulse shaper, single beam FROG and SPIDER techniques. In addition to pulse shaping capabilities provided by the build-in Dazzler system, the Phazzlers also provide spectral amplitude, spectral phase, and pulse measurement via FROG and SPIDER techniques, in a single beam geometry, with no moving parts.
By simply flipping a software button, one can swicth from a FROG trace to a SPIDER interferogram.
Depending upon the pulse shape under measurement, e.g. close to fourier transform limited or heavily chirped, one now has the opportunity to choose the most adapted measurement method. Alternatively, one can cross check results obtained with different pulse characterization techniques on the same set up, greatly enhancing measurement reliability and consistency.
Phazzlers are available for Ti:Sa, Ytterbium or in the visible wavelength ranges. |
