The IRP 400 is a 7 axis CNC optical polishing machine capable of producing ultra-precise surfaces on a variety of optical materials and surface forms. The machine axes can be used for traditional spiral polishing or raster polishing for parts up to 400mm in diameter or freeform parts up to 400mm x 400mm.
Benefits
·Minimum corrective polishing times, due to tool control function and high removal rates
·High form accuracy ensured by Tool Path Generator
·Low running cost by use of standard polishing media
·Low investment because of pre- and correction polishing in only one system
·Integrated tool alignment and measurement functions
·Reduced correction iterations using an advanced algorithm for corrective polishing
·Maximum flexibility in substrate geometries and materials |
