13 Jul 2009 OWIS® now offers most of its opto-mechanical components and manual stages in a nonmagnetic version as standard. Exclusively materials with a permeability of μr ≤ 1.01 are used. Thus, there are no timewasting corrections of the field like for example the magnetic field resonance. Light beams can be guided to an experiment or important components can be positioned to the right place without influencing the existing magnetic field.
Magnetic and nonmagnetic versions have all the same dimensions. Therefore, magnetic versions can be replaced easily by nonmagnetic ones without time-consuming modifications. All products available as nonmagnetic version are marked in the OWIS® catalogue by a special symbol. |
