26 Jun 2009 Arden have introduced the VF-20 Trio - an interferometer designed to produce high quality images of the ends of optical fibers to enable you to estimate their quality and flatness. It has three selectable magnification settings giving 1mm, 500um and 150um Field of View allowing users to view a wide range of fiber sizes. Two operational modes – Inspect and Fringe - eliminate the need for separate inspection equipment. The analogue and digital ouputs mean it can be used with a video monitor or computer. It is also suitable for use with Vytran and other splicer holders.
