07 May 2009 The new HP series 3 kW and 10 kW detector heads from Gentec-eo raise the bar in the area of high power. These detectors provide extremely accurate and stable measurements. Both models are equipped with Gentec’s legendary absorber, which has the highest damage threshold available on the market.
The surface of the 10 kW version is shaped like a cone in order to prevent undesired reflections. Large apertures (60 and 70 mm) and low sensitivity to temperature fluctuations in the cooling water are further features of these detectors.
Both detector heads can either be operated with a standard Gentec monitor, e.g. Solo 2 or P-Link, or connected directly to a computer using a USB interface. The appropriate software is included with the detector heads.
These detectors are used in the measurement of, for example, YAG or CO2 lasers in the kW range. |
