08 Jun 2009 Fianium have introduced the FP1060-HE range of high-energy ultrafast fiber lasers for applications as diverse as eye surgery and glass panel scribing. The lasers are based on a robust, reliable modelocked fiber laser generating ultrafast pulses with no complicated and sensitive free-space cavities or amplification.
The laser platform is flexible and upgradable with multiple configurations possible in the same industry standard 19” rack-mount laser chassis and compact remote optical head. The laser systems feature an external modulator allowing pulse repetition rates from single shot to 20MHz and enabling highly flexible pulse shaping and burst-mode operation. |
