Avantes NIR spectrometer line with reduced 2nd order effects

AVANTES, leading in the field of fiber optic spectroscopy, introduces an advanced NIR spectrometer line with significantly reduced 2nd order effects.

The enhanced NIR properties are achieved, among others, due to a new optical filtering technology based on a special coating. The new OSC-NIR coating was researched and developed in the Avantes R&D labs and suppresses significantly 2nd order effects, seen with gratings covering 1000-2200nm and 1000-2500nm.
