22 May 2009 With an extended range of 350-1000 nm, the PhotoTrans series is a cost-effective, easy-to-use solution for reflectance, absorbance and transmission analysis of liquids, films, coatings and plastics. The system integrates a lab class spectrometer, an integrating sphere and a light source. The latter is selected depending on the application and may be either LED, deuterium or xenon type.
The measurement configuration is flexible in order to match a maxiumum of application requirements. For reflectance analysis, the set-up uses the diffuse/8° geometry, while for transmission analysis, the samples are set into the illumination path with the 0°/diffuse configuration geometry . The integrating sphere diameter ranges from 50 mm to 1 meter so as to offer the best measurement solutions.
The spectrophotometer, and optionally the light source, are controlled by the PC via an USB 2.0 connexion. The dedicated software provides all the necessary tools for managing the spectral and color results. |
