19 Mar 2009 A hand-held fibre optic power meter with auto wavelength recognition is offered by Scitec Instruments Polska. The PM-1500 fibre optic power meter, as well as measuring optical power, can be used together with the LS-1500 series light sources to enable automated measurement of fibre loss at three wavelengths and perform fibre identification functions. A 'store loss button' allows all three measurements to be recorded for later downloading and analysis via its USB port. Its an indispensable tool for fibre installation and test. |
