11 Feb 2009 Filters and optics can be changed automatically with the filter wheels of the series FRM. They can be inserted into the optical path and can precisely attenuate the laser beam as required. These motorized filter wheels permit the adjustment of the laser intensity. Applications include fluorescence microscopy, spectroscopy, photometry and other laserlight based setups.
The filter wheel FRM 40 can hold four or six 25 mm (1") diameter unmounted filters or mounted optics. The filter wheel FRM 65 can accept either five 50 x 50 mm plates or 45 mm (2") diameter mounted optics. Both motorized filter wheels can be integrated in the OWIS system SYS 40 or SYS 65 when mounted on a slide. Using pins, adjustments on other beam heights are possible. A 2-phase step motor or a DC servo motor are available as a drive.
OWIS realizes also motorized filter wheels with another number of filters and double filter wheels. The placement in series of the filter wheels enables further applications. |
