09 Dec 2008 Glen Spectra and Omega Optical Inc are delighted to be associated with one of the 2008 Nobel Prize recipients for Chemistry, Dr Roger Y Tsien. Dr Tsien, University of California San Diego, has worked on expanding the range of fluorescence proteins and collaborated with Omega Optical to develop optical filters to view his new dyes. This collaboration has grown into what are now Omega Optical’s stock fluorescence filters. Glen Spectra have represented Omega Optical Inc in the UK for over 20 years and have offer the same high quality filters and service to researchers in the life sciences.
