piezosystem jena now offers high power actuators, with a travel of up to 260 microns. Positioning applications with a load of up to 70,000 N, a tensile force of maximum 6,000 N and the force generation up to 50,000 N can be accomplished. Obtaining a resolution of less than one nanometer the new systems combine power and precision. The resonant frequency of up to 60 kHz, and extreme high accelerations of >100.000 m/sec² allow for the use in many highly dynamic applications.
