25 Jul 2008 Sirah's Allegro dye laser is optimised for the use with high repetition rate DPSS laser systems. Distributed in the UK by Photonic Solutions, the Allegro features a specially designed low threshold resonator, novel dye cells, modified flow pumps, and can be pumped by multi kHz 532nm and 355nm lasers. This unique narrowband dye laser can lase from 370–900nm with a fundamental wavelength output power up to 25W.
Efficient SHG conversion is easily achieved for truly tuneable UV radiation in the kHz region, opening up new research opportunities in areas such as combustion diagnostics and atmospheric research.
