12 Sep 2008 Cambridge Correlators launches the first product based on its Optical Fourier Transform Engine. Separate Liquid Crystal SLM devices are also available. The kit allows students and researchers to practically explore a range of topics based around the building block of Fourier Optics: the Optical Fourier Transform. It also doubles as a Joint Transform Correlator system, to demonstrate the principles of optical pattern recognition.
The FOE is driven from an external laptop/PC to provide plug and play functionality, with a fully accessible optical stage for real "hands-on" experience. Demonstration software, Matlab interface and an SDK are included.
NEW: Vertically aligned nematic liquid crystal Spatial Light Modulator are also available separately - please enquire. |
