16 Jul 2008 LASER COMPONENTS has invested significantly in state-of-the-art machinery for spherical substrates. All lens types with a diameter of 12 mm - 60 mm can be manufactured. The radii can be almost arbitrarily chosen from 12 mm to infinity.
In addition to the fully automated CNC grinding and polishing machines, we also invested heavily in brand name metrology equipment. For example, the QED process is fed real time measurement data from a Zygo interferometer to perform local surface corrections in order to achieve the highest surface quality possible.
A fully automated ultrasonic cleaning system complements this expansion. |
