19 Feb 2008 The only real-time wavelength measurement for CW lasers that operate in the Mid-Infrared. Bristol Instruments has introduced a wavelength meter for use with CW tunable quantum cascade lasers. The 621B-MIR operates over the entire range of 4 to 11 um. Proven Michelson interferometer-based technology is used to measure absolute wavelength to an accuracy of ± 1 part per million, and guaranteed by continuous calibration with a built-in wavelength standard. Several features allow for convenient integration into an experiment to provide real-time wavelength data. The result is more meaningful experimental results. |
