The first "WAVE" laser, in production, is a system with modest average power and high repetition rate. WAVE-QCW produces a Quasi CW output of 200mW at 355nm at 80kHz or greater. For many applications, this source acts as CW and it is very cost effective compared to mode locked alternatives.
