20 Sep 2007 Siskiyou Corporation’s new IXFt series monolithic flexure mounts are a new line of mounts specifically designed for OEM applications where ease of adjustment, stability and compact design are paramount The top adjustment feature allows easy access to adjustments when mounted in a laser cavity and incorporates non-influencing locks.
These mounts use 100TPI rolled thread adjustment screws for low static friction fine adjustments. The adjustment screws are swaged at the end to prevent over-travel of the mount.
The flexure portion of the mount is manufactured from one solid piece of material, aluminium or spring steel which ensures high stiffness and long term stability. The steel parts are nickel plated so they will not corrode and can be used in ultraviolet laser environments. The aluminium parts are left uncoated for use in vacuum compatible applications.
Siskiyou’s flexure mounts are available in 3 standard sizes for 0.5”, 0.75” and 1.0” optics with Metric or Imperial features.
The IXF and IXFi ranges have conventionally located adjustment screws and options for either post mounting on 8-32 (M4) threaded holes on the edges or for bulkhead mounting.
