Focus on IR cameras at Photonex 2007

24 Jul 2007

Visitors to Photonex 2007 will have the chance to see Cedip Infrared Systems innovative Titanium high performance IR camera systems that may be configured to provide outstanding results from almost any R&D or Thermography application.

Cedip Infrared Systems has chosen the Photonex exhibition, being held at Stoneleigh Park on 17th and 18th October 2007, to present the most recent additions in its affordable, high performance IR camera range to the UK market. Visitors to stand B37 will have the chance to discuss and see demonstrated Cedip's innovative Titanium - a series of flexible high performance IR camera systems that may be configured to provide outstanding results from almost any R&D or Thermography application. Titanium IR systems are available with a broad range of detectors including state-of-the-art InSb, MCT or QWIP focal plane array detectors that achieve outstanding sensitivity of less than 18 mK even at the highest frame rates in both the MWIR and LWIR domains. Built for operational flexibility Titanium is programmable from 1Hz to 380 Hz in full frame mode, offers a sub-array windowing mode with integration time adjustable in 1µs increments and smart external triggering capability synchronising image capture to even the most fleeting events. Titanium IR systems offer true plug & play compatibility with standard computers as well as third party frame grabbers and image processing software. Using either CAMLINK, USB2.0 or GigE interfaces the Titanium is able to transmit commands and transfer video images at 40 MHz pixel rate and full 14-bit dynamic range. Comprehensive image analysis software dedicated to thermal measurement comes as standard. Jon Chicken, business manager of Cedip Infrared Systems Ltd, said ' by delivering innovative and affordable products, like the Titanium, that offer leading edge performance, reliability and versatility, we are opening up new markets to the application of IR imaging technology'. Also on display with be a selection of Cedip's popular Silver IR cameras that are widely used for industrial, research and medical applications. Cedip Infrared Systems (www.cedip-infrared.com) offers a range of high-performance infrared imaging cameras and systems incorporating the latest technology in optics, infrared focal plane array detectors, electronic hardware and software. Founded in 1989 Cedip Infrared Systems is today recognised as a leading supplier of Infrared Imaging solutions for industry, R&D, medical and defence customers around the world.
