The kit is designed to enable new applications using Texas Instruments' DLP technology. DMD Discovery products enable loading of binary data into the DMD to create light patterns with high update rates & are flexible by design to facilitate products.

• Chipset requires flex cable assembly

• DAD 1000 DMD Power and Reset Driver
• Reset control of 16 banks of DMD mirrors
• DDC3000 Digital Controller
• Provides high speed LVDS data and control interface for user interface to the DMD and provides mirror reset and timing information to the DAD1000
• Supports random row addressing

DMD Discovery™ 3000 Digital Controller (DDC3000) Starter Kit Technical Reference Manual Downloadable link) This document describes the functionality of the Discovery 3000 Digital Controller (DDC3000) Starter Kit. The starter kit provides a reference design and test platform for the DDC3000 chipset. The DDC3000 chipset consists of an XC3S400, SNDDISCO3000, DAD1000, and a DMD. The XC3S400 and SNDDISCO3000 make up the DDC3000 controller.
