The ULTRA from Quantel is laser is a Q-Switched Nd:YAG well-known for its extremely simple use and maintenance:

• Changing the flashlamp is as easy as changing a fuse.

Furthermore, this laser can be coupled with an optical fiber on request (Fiber Optic Launch Adaptor or FOLA Option) The optical fiber is equipped with an SMA connector for easy disconnection. Standard length is 3 m for a diameter of 1 mm. This option, which permits coupling of energy in an optical fiber, is available on Ultra Nd:YAG pulsed lasers and is designed - like all products in the range - for use in harsh industrial or experimental environments.
