02 Feb 2007 A new aspheric molded lens for collimating light from MWIR and LWIR lasers, such as Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL) LightPath has just introduced this new molded aspheric collimating lens for MWIR and LWIR lasers. Manufactured from LightPath's Black Diamond (TM) IR Glass, the lens has a high numerical aperture designed for maximum light collection from quantum cascade lasers. The aspheric design enables a single lens to replace a complex multiple component optical system.
Anti-reflective coatings are available for the MWIR (3µm-5µm)and LWIR (7µm-12µm). Contact Pacer for more details.
