High energy picosecond Nd:YAG lasers from EKSPLA | |
23 Nov 2006 High energy electro-optically Q-switched SBS – compressed Nd:YAG lasers are available from EKSPLA. SL300 series lasers are an excellent solution for applications where high energypicosecond pulses are needed. Backward-stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) , used as pulse compression method, is simple and cost-effective. In addition, SBS compression allows generation of pulses within exceptional duration range: from few nanoseconds to 150 picoseconds . Harmonics generators and harmonic separation optics are available as standard options. Each wavelength has a separate output port. A very low jitter of optical pulse in respect to the sync pulses allows reliable synchronization of the laser with independent registration equipment. The compact power supply and cooling unit easily fits under tables and saves valuable lab place. The SL300 series lasers are built in a way that allows them to be used in a variety of ranging applications. Our customers used it on the airborn, ship, truck and were satisfied with the outcome of their experiments
