30 Mar 2009 Short pulse laser source.
Wavelength: 1310nm or 1550nm
FP (Fabry-Perot) or DFB (distributed- feedback) laser diode id Quantique’s id300 Short-Pulse Laser Source has been designed to meet specific requirement of researcher who need to generate short laser pulses. It is triggered externally and it produces sub-nanosecond laser pulses with a repetition rate ranging from 1KHz to 500MHz.
It is ideally suited to work in combination with the id201 Single Photon Detector at telecom wavelengths.
The id300 has pulse duration of 300ps, a peak power of 1mW and a spectral width (FWHM) of typically 7nm. As an option the id300 is available with a polarization maintaining fiber.
The key features are:
- Sub-nanosecond laser pulses
- Repetition rate from DC to 500MHz
- Wavelength: 1310nm or 1550nm
- FP (Fabry-Perot) or DFB (distributed- feedback) laser diode
- External trigger
- Compact and reliable stand-alone unit |
