The best selling 512X512 element 20X20um pixel 500ke full well depth is a very price effective and high perfromance camera. 500000 electrons for one pixel means that oen can get really fully benefit from the 16 bit dynamic range of this camera. While most other 16 bit cameras normally can get noinformation in more than 14 bits. This high Dynamic range is very important in X-Ray and other low light applications.
Another available model is based on a 2148X1472 6.8X6.8um pixel chip, and more chips are available.
The standard cooling is 35 degrees below ambient and optionally this can be increased to 45 degrees bellow ambient.
