04 Oct 2006 Spare Laser Parts of All Sizes So-called protective windows are used as the last optic before the work area to protect high quality optics against material splatter while cutting, welding, and engraving. These are inexpensive windows with a surface figure of 1 L and scratch-dig 60-40.
The protective windows are coated with an anti-reflection (AR) coating for the laser beam (commonly this is a YAG laser, emitting at 1064 nm). AR coatings at other wavelengths are possible, and in addition a visible AR coating can be added for improving the transmission of the pilot beam. The protective windows can be manufactured from BK7 or quartz, depending on the power density of the laser.
LASER COMPONENTS offers protective windows for various well-known laser manufacturers. Two examples:
AR/AR1064 dia. 1.0" x 4 mm or
AR/AR1064 dia. 55 x 2 mm.
Other sizes can also be supplied at short notice.
In addition we offer a number of accessories and expendable items for use in laser systems:
- Conversion screens, to make infrared radiation visible,
- Cutting lenses made of ZnSe and copper mirrors for use in CO2 lasers, and
- Flash and arc lamps for lamp-pumped laser systems.
