20 Feb 2007 WT&T is introducing single-mode fiber coupled broadband source operating at ~ 1560 nm. Medium power (1-9 dBm), good stability and good price LD-03BB is a compact, single mode fiber-coupled broadband light source module, operating at central wavelength of~1550 nm, designed for different laboratory and industrial applications (optical sensing, O/E components testing, OCT, inspection etc.). Medium fiber-coupled output optical power (up to 9 mW) delivered through low-reflectivity FC/APC connector.
Module operates using an external (TEC and current driver with active air-cooling). Internal components and SLED control circuits of LD-03BB has good stabilization. Robust design gives superb short- and long-term stability, low sensitivity to vibrations and feedback light.
Short manufacturing cycle, many optional accessories and good price.
