T-mics has a specific 50 GHz tunable spacing range starting from 25 to 300 GHZ with any starting frequency. Kylia also offers the possibility of renting a 20 channel multiplexer with a tunable spacing of 37.5 GHz to 75 GHz. The frequency is tunable along all the C+L band. Manual and a computer versions are available. OSNR penalties, BandWidth, Insertion Loss, Crosstalk can be measured in a testing loop. Tunable mics has been designed in order to save time for network designers when considering either a new network or updating an existing one. Optical performances are a matter of compromise between devices features and requirements. |
