The PHAROS D and PHAROS LR are two new add-ons to the fast growing line of Cedip products dedicated and optimised to specific security and surveillance applications. Other products on show on stand C37 / Hall 2 will include the popular RUBY IR Night Vision camera, the COBOLT 350 multi-sensor stabilised gimbal system and the Silver 450M - a 3-5µm focal plane array camera combining very fast frame rate and high sensitivity for Research & Development applications.
Built around a new 2 x FoV lens and uncooled microbolometer the modular PHAROS D and PHAROS LR systems are designed to accommodate a range of different sensors according to customer needs. The PHAROS D multisensor surveillance platform is a compact and rugged medium range system designed to operate continuously in harsh environmental conditions. Fix mounted on a mast, tower, tripod or integrated into a vehicle the PHAROS D provides leading-edge operation effectiveness for a wide range of reconnaissance, surveillance and tracking applications. The PHAROS LR multisensor surveillance platform is a system designed to operate continuously on long-range applications including border & coastal surveillance, customs & immigration, protection of sensitive sites and vessel traffic management. Combining a state-of-the-art uncooled microbolometer thermal imager (night time), a CCD camera (daytime) and an optional Laser Range Finder makes PHAROS an ideal ground or vehicle mounted surveillance platform for sensitive sites such as harbours, borders, airports or industrial production facilities.
