28 Jun 2006 Line lasers of the FP-HOM series, developed particularly for industrial image processing, were just replenished with additional special optics. Aperture angles of 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90° are available. The four optics make it possible to project lines of different lengths from a single operating distance. Using the adjustable lens, the laser line can be very finely focussed on a surface.
The lasers are available at wavelengths of 532 nm (green) or 635 670 nm. The maximum output power depends on the wavelength (max. 20 mW at 658 nm). The main feature of these line lasers is the linear intensity distribution along the line. This is how these lasers differentiate themselves from standard line lasers, which exhibit a Gaussian intensity distribution.
The modules produced in Germany by LASER COMPONENTS are multifaceted modules. They have such options available as digital modulation or analogue power adjustment and are therefore universally instruments for the light-section method. Because we manufacture in house, we are quick and flexible in meeting customer demands (for housings, supply voltage, etc.).
