21 Aug 2006 Rochester, New YorkThe Melles Griot Optics Group, a leading supplier of optical components and optical systems, has developed a family of high-precision Fizeau transmission spheres that cost-effectively quadruple the absolute accuracy of Zygo® style Fizeau surface and transmitted wavefront testing interferometers. The new 100-mm clear aperture transmission spheres are available from stock with f-numbers of f/0.76, f/1.5, f/2.2, and f/3.3.
