26 May 2006 Short pulse diode pumped Q-switched nanosecond Nd:YVO4 lasers has been introduced by EKSPLA Featuring short 6-14 ns pulse duration, up to 40 kHz repetition rate and external TTL triggering, the NL640 series q-switched laser from EKSPLA is excellent choice for material processing applications. Output power is up to 6 W at 1064 nm.. Green (1064 nm) and UV (355 nm and 266 nm) versions are available as standard options. End-pumped design ensures compact size of laser cavity. Complete air cooling as well as rugged and stable body, ensures reliable operation and easy maintenance 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Combined, the compact size and turn-key operation make the NL640 series nanosecondlasers ideal for integrating into material processing and marking systems, especially where compactness and portability are important.
