17 Mar 2006 Episode III of a Success Story SCANLAB proudly introduces the hurrySCAN II 7, the newest member of the very successful hurrySCAN II series. With a 7 mm useable aperture, this new model extends the product range to cover small apertures and offers record-breaking speed.
This quantum leap in performance is made possible by SCANLABs new-generation dynAXIS XS scanners. Numerous improvements and modifications result in around 15 % less tracking error and the electronics, too, have been further optimized.
The hurrySCAN II 7 is the first product to use SCANLABs new-generation scanners. With writing speeds in excess of 1,150 cps and positioning speeds up to 15 m/s (at f = 160 mm), the hurrySCAN II 7 is currently the fastest commercially available scan head. The hurrySCAN II 7 is ideal suited for all applications requiring SPEED (e.g. marking in the electronics and packaging industries).
As the SCANjet IIs replacement, the hurrySCAN II 7 uses the same compatible, compact housing shared by all members of the hurrySCAN II family.
For controlling the scan heads, SCANLAB offers diverse possibilities such as the RTC4 board or the RTC SCANalone. These solutions facilitate implementation of a broad array of applications even processing-on-the-fly. |
