Both Laser Quality and Analytical Quality Plano-Convex & Plano-Concave Cylindrical Lenses designated as LQ ( Laser Quality) and AQ (Analytical Quality) are available in UV Grade Fused Silica (FS) & BK7 Glass. Plano-Convex Cylindrical Lenses have one flat (plano) surface and one cylindrical surface curved outward (convex). A Plano-Convex cylindrical Lens will focus light in only one dimension, stretching a point of light into a line. Plano-Convex cylindrical Lenses are typically used for collecting and line focusing light in many applications. These lenses have positive Effective Focal Lengths.
