28 Feb 2006 QPC has released a single transverse mode 1.5W laser diode at 976nm according to UK distributor Pro-Lite Technology QPC has announced a new high power single transverse mode laser diode featuring an oscillator with a tapered amplifier on a standard C-mount.
The first laser offered provides 1.5W output power CW at 976nm suited to fibre laser pumping or direct frequency doubling to 488nm providing a new novel pump source for solidstate blue/cyan lasers.
A further enhancement is to incorporate an internal DBR grating to produce a narrowed spectrum and with the new BrightLase NAM process, open new applications benefiting from both extreme brightness and high spectral purity in a laser diode. |
