28 Feb 2006 Excellent bias stability, low power analog voltage output, harsh environment compatible MEMS accelerometer for Inertia, Tilt/Inclination and seismic/vibration applications The MS8000 series accelerometer, available in a small LCC package is the latest version integrating MEMS capacitive sensors from Colibrys. This product is ideal for a wide range of application requiring inertial sensing, tilt and inclination sensing or vibration sensing.
The new MS8000.C version, replacing advantageously the initial MS8000.5 products is now more powerful, offering a solid power on reset and a brown out protection in any circumstance. This new product is Fit Form Function compatible apart a minor increase of current consumption from 300uA to 400uA (see data sheets). This product is consolidating our position as a reputable volume supplier of cost competitive high performance compact and resistant accelerometers.
The combination of the advanced bulk micro-machined capacitive sensor mechanism with the performing low power signal conditioning IC added to the in-built temperature sensor give the option of improved stability through external compensation.
