20 Jan 2006 ROSS 5100 Streak Camera System The Sydor ROSS 5100 is an advanced data collection system. The Sydor ROSS Streak Camera system is the only self-calibrating streak camera with the highest precision and greatest accuracy of any commercially available instrument. The Sydor ROSS 5100 enables picosecond measurements of plasma and particle physics phenomenon with better than 1% measurement accuracy. The product was developed for the laser fusion program at the University of Rochester, Laboratory for Laser Energetics. The key feature of this novel instrument is self-calibration. The Sydor ROSS Streak Camera system can be calibrated in place, alleviating the need to send the camera back to the manufacturer for calibration.
