Pavilion Integration Corporation's WhisperIT Comet® solid-state detector modules provide high-sensitivity photon detection for biomedical and analytical instrumentation.
Based on SiPM technology, Comet offers single-photon sensitivity, high quantum efficiency, low noise and compact OEM-ready packaging. Designed as a solid-state alternative to conventional photomultiplier tubes (PMTs), Comet supports direct PMT replacement in compatible systems and integrated multi-channel detection with 8 or more channels. Custom modules and detector arrays can incorporate cooling, optics and functional PCB layers.
Applications include flow cytometry, DNA sequencing, confocal microscopy, medical imaging, diagnostics and point-of-care instrumentation.
