Wedge prisms are commonly used for beam steering in laser systems. They can be used individually to deflect the laser beam by a set angle, or two wedge prisms can be combined for beam steering applications.
This beam steering is achieved by independently rotating the two wedge prisms and is typically used to scan the beam to different positions in imaging applications.
Applications:
1. Laser Industry
2. Optical Inspection & Instrument Calibration
3. Machine Vision / Industrial Imaging
4. Biomedical Optics
5. Aerospace and Optoelectronic Sensing
