Expansion of Personnel Keeps Heraeus One Step Ahead in the Photovoltaic Industry.
WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Heraeus Photovoltaic Business Unit, a world leader in developing front and back-side silver paste for crystalline solar cells, is tripling the size of its global technical staff to keep up with the growing industry demand for its photovoltaic products.
Because the growth of the industry is dependent on technological innovations, Heraeus, a technology-based company, is focused on investing its efforts to introduce new technologies and products to the photovoltaics industry. The recent opening of its newest technical facility, a research and development center located in Singapore, is the third research and development facility, joining the US and Germany, that is fully staffed covering each of the major markets. The company also has application centers in Shanghai and Taoyuan to compliment its research and development centers.
With the opening of the third fully staffed research and development facility, Heraeus has increased its personnel to continue efficiently customizing products for specific customer needs. The increased staff and location allows the company to meet customer goals within the customers’ timeframe.
