Umicore supplies AXIS Communications with thermal imaging assemblies

Date Announced: 03 May 2011

Umicore Electro-Optic Materials will launch a new set of GASIR® standard assemblies for cost sensitive low and high volume thermal imaging applications. The new GASIR® standard assemblies will be launched at SPIE Defense, Security, and Sensing 2011 and expand Umicore’s existing range of standard infrared lenses.

GASIR® standard assemblies offer a high quality image together with excellent athermal properties that are typical for GASIR® glass. AXIS communications is the global market leader in network video.

Umicore is happy to add AXIS Communications to its list of high volume thermal imaging camera customers.
