Wessling, November 2025. Since November 2025, Dr. Axel Wehling has been the new point of contact for Laser 2000’s customers and partners in Northern Germany. A native of Braunschweig, Dr. Wehling brings over 15 years of experience in technical B2B and B2C sales within the photonics, laser, and life sciences industries.
After earning his degree in chemistry and completing a PhD in physical chemistry at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Dr. Wehling spent many years at Coherent, where he most recently served as Commercial Sales Manager, overseeing OEM and key account business in the Technical Instrumentation division.
In his new role at Laser 2000, Dr. Wehling will be responsible for personalized customer consulting, technical support, and solution-oriented account management across Northern Germany.
