Ilminster, United Kingdom -- G&H, the global designer and manufacturer of photonics, optical systems and life sciences technology, will be exhibiting at SPIE Optics + Photonics 2024 held in San Diego, California, US between August 18th and 22nd, 2024.
The leading multidisciplinary optical sciences and technology meeting will provide the space for visitors to explore the engineering performance behind G&H’s hyper-efficient applications from a diverse set of fields. Known as an optics and photonics industry stalwart, G&H will be catering to professionals from aerospace and defense, industrial and telecom, as well as life sciences through their demonstrative portfolio presentations.
One of the highlights of the exhibit will be centered around G&H’s latest Acousto-Optic Beam Deflector for UV Systems (AODF - UV), a device series that champions one of the highest diffraction efficiencies on the market, as well as the lowest amount of beam distortion.
The key feature of this state-of-the-art acousto-optic (AO) solution is its repeatable performance. This essential quality ensures the precision and accuracy of the planned results, while delivering these outcomes under high pressure factors such as operational speed over extended periods.
The AODF - UV covers a vast array of applications, including: digital imaging, laser displays, material processing, heterodyne interferometry, microscopy, optical inspection, photolithography, and printing. G&H UV deflectors are especially designed for micro machining, inspection systems, via drilling, and graphic imaging. Other more complex actions such as two[1]dimensional scanning can be achieved through set-ups recommended by the G&H in-house engineering team.
Another important event highlight is the StingRay FireAnt Series™, part of the custom lens designs offered by G&H. This shortwave (SWIR) infrared lens assembly is purposefully built for performance in tough, tactical situations, from border and coastal surveillance to shipboard installation and space applications. Its high-quality results, including an improved field-of-view (FOV) capacity, are a product of the intensive testing period dedicated to designing this resistant solution.
For life sciences, G&H will be highlighting their expanded US-based capabilities, culminating with the newly added polymer-based solutions. This new line answers field-specific material and processing challenges, particularly in sterilization compatibility, creep and stress-corrosion resistance and cost efficiency for medtech manufacturing.
“This conference represents a unique opportunity for G&H to display the wide range of capabilities we house under one roof at G&H. Our creative approach to engineering support allows for greater project flexibility for customers by ensuring their designs can be realized at G&H,” says Brittany Ryan, G&H’s Global Marketing & Communications Manager.
“We have successfully ventured into this before, translating biotech applications into aerospace and defense innovations by adjusting certain design angles. That is why talking to prospective clients about their product visions is so important. With a can-do attitude and a keen awareness of financial opportunities, G&H has produced impressive optics and photonics innovations for the industrial and aerospace/defense spaces, alongside leading solutions in life sciences. Our dedicated team will be able to cover a broad range of questions about our innovations, so we invite everyone to stop by the G&H booth at SPIE Optics + Photonics 2024,” concludes Brittany Ryan.
Visitors can book face-to-face meetings with G&H specialists at booth #425.
