Together with the Co-Chairs and an international program committee, Verena Wippo is thus responsible for the program design of the ICALEO conference (International Congress on Applications of Lasers & Electro-Optics).

This year's conference will feature presentations and posters on the following topics:

• Laser Additive Manufacturing
• Laser Macroprocessing
• Laser Microprocessing
• Frontiers in Laser Applications

After ICALEO was hosted as an online event in the past two years, the conference is to be held on-site again this year. ICALEO offers experts from research and industry the opportunity to exchange information on the latest findings and trends in laser materials processing. As every year, ICALEO is hosted by the Laser Institute of America (LIA).
