Terry Hannon moves up from VP to president and CEO at the fiber laser company.
TUCSON, Ariz., Feb. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- NP Photonics Inc. (Tucson, AZ), a leading innovator of advanced fiber laser products for sensing and metrology applications, announced today that its board of directors has named Terry Hannon to serve as the company's President and CEO.
Terry most recently served as Vice President of NP where he was responsible for Marketing, Sales and Corporate Strategy.
Terry was previously Executive Vice President of XSiL Ltd. and Vice President, General Manager of Solid-State-Laser Business at Coherent Inc. Terry received his Honors Degree in Physics and his Masters Degree in Optoelectronics from The Queen's University, Belfast. Terry is also a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
