One-stop shop for making free-form micro-optics; accelerated innovation and production.
The PHABULOuS Pilot Line has reached an amazing milestone with the establishment of its independent PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association. After the full review process as part of the PHABULOuS Pilot Line project funded under European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation, in Public Private Partnership with Photonics 21, the PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association is now the 20th official partner of the project.
PHABULOuS is the European one-stop shop for the manufacturing of free-form micro-optics offering accelerated innovation & production cycles from prototypes to piloting and large volume production. To ensure high quality production services and excellent customer experience, we have now report on the establishment of the PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association.
The PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association is represented by the PHABULOUS Pilot Line Front Office, which is now fully operational. As the legal entity of PHABULOuS, the PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association sets the guidelines for uniform and effective internal processes within the PHABULOuS Pilot Line, in order to ensure high quality production services and excellent customer experience. To this extent, the PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association was founded as an independent legal entity and its bylaws were signed by the Founding Members.
The PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association was established as a non-profit making association on 19 October 2020, when the first Association General Assembly (AGA) and Executive Board Meeting (EBM) were held. Here, the Association General Assembly named as Executive Board Members:
The Executive Board named as Managing Director Dr Rolando Ferrini from CSEM. The Association was registered at the Commercial Register on 10 December 2020, in Switzerland. As an independent legal entity with legal capacity, which, according to Swiss law, is governed by the bylaws signed by its thirteen (13) Founding Members.
With the establishment of the PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association, the PHABULOUS Pilot Line Front Office, and the Grant Agreement amendment session on 4 December 2020, PHABULOus is fully operational and the PHABULOuS Pilot Line Association is now officially the 20th partner of the PHABULOuS project.
As such, the PHABULOUS Pilot Line Front Office is now open as a single-entry point for customers. Very much aligned towards the open calls for pilot cases that will be launched by end of 2021- early 2022. The pilot cases will provide you full access to the piloting services of PHABULOuS. Through our open call, we support early adopters with funding to develop their application.
